Rendleman Orchards to Host Historical Marker Dedication

Rendleman Orchards will host the unveiling of its official historical marker for the Rendleman Orchards Historic District, recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
A brief dedication ceremony will be held Friday, April 3 at 12:00 p.m. at Rendleman Orchards in Alto Pass.
The short program will honor Union County’s fruit-growing legacy and recognize the orchard’s multi-generational role in Southern Illinois agriculture. Established more than 150 years ago, Rendleman Orchards continues to blend preservation, innovation, and family leadership.
The historic designation also marks the beginning of a broader, multi-year vision to thoughtfully develop the property as a regional heritage destination. Rendleman Orchards is a place where history, agriculture, education, and tourism intersect.
