May 15 & 16, 1-4pm
Shinrin-Yoku, translated as forest bathing, has been shown to lower cortisone (the stress hormone), lower blood pressure, and improve immune function. Forest bathing walks take you away from your day to day stressors so you can slow down and connect with the forest in a carefully designed three-hour program. The walk is guided by Keri Luly, who has been trained and certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs. Registration is required and will begin on May 1st. Please call 618-457-4836 for more information or to register.
