The Maple Syrup Festival is a Family fun winter festival where you can learn about, and taste maple syrup. Maple syrup demonstrations, tree identification hikes, blacksmith demonstrations, lumberjack demonstrations, a portable climbing wall, live music, vendors and artisans, and of course a pancake breakfast. Held at the Touch of Nature Center near Makanda.
Free Entry, but you’ll need to register for the Pancake Breakfast. Featuring syrup collected from sugar maple trees on our property. The breakfast is served 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. both days. 618-453-1121
