History Restorers is a restoration/working museum focused on restoring museum quality blacksmith, woodworking, stained glass, and other “tools of the trade technologies” from 1860-1940, with the sole purpose to bring them back to life for the next generation. Our motto: “Giving meaning to the present by restoring and explaining the past”. Our shop is placed in an 1860’s hand hued timber barn located off of New Route 51east of Cobden.
The Open House will be from 9:00am-2:00pm.

Coming from Carbondale, take New Rt. 51 (South) approximately 11 miles
to Water Valley Rd. Turn left on Water Valley Road and go 200 yards. The
Craftman’s Guild and Shawnee Hill B+B have the same address.
